Excess plants in the house
Arranging a beautiful green corner in your apartment is a great idea, but it’s important to take it in moderation. According to environmentalist Rachel Mayo, people sometimes get so excited about filling their homes with greenery that they buy too many different flowers. As a result, the plants die while we try to figure out how to properly care for each of them.
It is better to start with one, maximum two, choose the appropriate care for them, and then gradually add one more new “pet” at a time.
How to create comfortable conditions for home flowers
Before choosing a particular plant and bringing it into your apartment, you must first find out detailed information about this representative of the flora. Read about the features of flower care. And try to follow the recommendations of experts. You should not frequently touch the containers in which the plants are located or move the pots.
The humidity level and air temperature in the room should be comfortable for the flowers. It is necessary to protect plants from tobacco smoke. Before making a choice in favor of a particular flower, experts advise paying attention to the feelings it evokes. If next to a plant a person feels spiritual harmony, joy and a surge of strength, then this representative of the flora is suitable for him.
In ancient times, houses with heavy energy were said to be inhabited by evil spirits. Dark forces really are inside every swear word, bad thought, selfish desire. A person creates a bad aura around himself. And plants die due to its effects. If the flowers begin to fade, despite good care, the owners of the house should analyze their life and behavior.
Surprisingly, in those families where plants do not feel well and die, these “purifiers” of the atmosphere are needed most of all.

Scheduled watering
The frequency of watering depends on the amount of light the flowers receive, temperature, air humidity and many other factors. The author of the blog about house plants, Lisa Eldred-Steinkopf, advises not to water on a schedule, but to check the condition of the soil. For example, if it was cloudy all week, the process of photosynthesis was not very active, which means that the plant may not need water on the next scheduled day.
You can assess the condition of the soil with your finger if the plant “lives” in a shallow pot, or with a wooden stick if it is in a large and deep one. You need to immerse the stick in the ground so that it reaches the bottom of the pot, leave it for a minute, and then pull it out and check. If it is wet at the end, it means it is too early to water the plant.
In this case, for example, cacti and succulents should be “watered” when the soil is completely dry. Tropical foliage plants - in partially moist soil. Ferns and flowers with thin leaves - in slightly dry soil.
It is important not to forget about the correct breaks between waterings. The same cacti or succulents may not be watered for several weeks, but ferns will need moisture within a week.
