How to care for hibiscus (indoor Chinese rose) at home

/Accessories and decor/Gardening/

So, you have decided to plant a beautiful evergreen tree with bright flowers. Time to take a closer look at hibiscus or Chinese rose: these are exotics that are affordable for ordinary apartments.

A brief “everyday rider” of this star:

  • Lots of light and warmth (but not scorching rays);
  • Enough space and not too cramped pot (the plant can reach two meters in height);
  • Spraying;
  • Abundant watering.

The Chinese rose does not look like the one we are used to, and even belongs to a different species. This makes the plant even more curious: large flowers, like all mallows, resemble wide calyxes with a long anther “trunk,” and sticky shiny leaves look like birch leaves.

A blossoming flower lives for 1-2 days, and then it is replaced by the next bud

Hibiscus flowers are most often found in homes with scarlet flowers, but they can also be pink, yellow or white.

Hibiscus San Remo. It seems simple, but gives a feeling of celebration. Maybe because he's white?
