I bought my Haworthia as a small rosette of succulent mix almost 4 years ago. For about a year she lived with me in a succulent arrangement in a bowl, without increasing in growth or developing roots. But when I moved to a new apartment and transplanted it into a separate pot, it quickly began to grow and began to grow new rosettes. I still can’t understand why it has a better climate here, I keep it in the same conditions: a western window, succulent soil mixed with coarse sand, rare watering (after the soil has completely dried out). In general, the plant is nice, unpretentious, ideal for those who like to travel, leaving the plants without watering for a couple of weeks.

I bought (as always) a baby haworthia at the Sadovod market. The plant in nature does not grow in the sunniest places and in arid areas, just for those who have few sunny places in their apartment and who always have no time to water their green friends. In two years, the plant covered the entire area of the pot, turning into a wonderful kind of turf in a pot. I water it occasionally, in winter I water it occasionally, sometimes I spray it so that spider mites don’t get in. A year ago I bought another one of a different type. Now I’m growing a second sod. No problems have arisen yet. On the one hand, it’s not the brightest flower in my collection, but it’s pleasing to the eye .

They gave me 2 tiny sprouts without roots (1.5 cm) of haworthia. According to the advice, I planted cacti in dry soil so that they would grow roots, but after a couple of weeks they began to dry out, then I started watering regularly, and so several months passed and my sprouts became almost dried out and “black.” I couldn’t stand the current mockery of them and dug them up, but there were no roots there and they weren’t even visible. Then I simply put these sprouts in water and before my eyes they simply began to fill with life and turn green, and literally within a few days they put out fat roots! In a month they grew four leaves and increased in size several times. Now they grow in my pot and make me happy ❗

Good day, my dears! My topic today is about plants. Probably almost every home has some kind of indoor plant. And I am no exception. I paid special attention to the haworthia. It was given to me by my grandmother, in whom plants are now her favorite thing. And so there are many different types of haworthia, but my haworthia is striped - the leaves are long and sharp, white pimples that form a stripe.
Caring for her is very easy, because she does not need much attention. I water it rarely, only when the soil on top dries out. But even though the plant does not really like strong moisture, in winter it should be sprayed with water at room temperature. Haworthia loves warmth very much; in the summer, especially at lunchtime, it feels great, but it does not need direct sunlight to fall on it. This indoor plant blooms, but as they say, flowering has no value.
And when the entire flowerpot dies, it is recommended that the flower be cut off immediately. My haworthia hasn't bloomed yet, but I'd like to see how it does. I'll breed more of them, then. The only pity is that Haworthia grows very slowly. And I love her very much, taking care of her.

Haworthia is a plant from the succulent family, somewhat similar in appearance to aloe. I received a small rosette in a pot as a gift. The plant is very pretty - long triangular leaves of a dark green color dotted with white spots that resemble pearls.
The new pet turned out to be undemanding. Haworthia settled on a well-lit windowsill. It is important to ensure that caring households do not water it too often. Like all desert plants, Haworthia does not like excess moisture. In winter, it needs a period of rest; the plant must be moved to a cooler room and watering reduced to once a month. I plan to add a few more haworthias to the collection. I saw plants of other colors for sale.

I was given a cute plant called “Haworthia” about 10 years ago. I didn’t really like it then - the leaves were kind of pimply and didn’t bloom at all. “What kind of joy can there be from him?” - I thought then... After so many years, I am grateful to my Haworthia - she was the only one that was able to survive in my house: I constantly forget to water it, I somehow forget about all my plants... No one else could withstand such an attitude towards themselves, but she did it. He lives for himself, he even has a lot of children. There was a time when the cat regularly ripped it out by the roots once a month and put it next to the pot. I stuck it back into the ground and it took root! Again and again!
In general, if you, like me, forget to water your house plants, but want some “greenery” at home, pay attention to Haworthia - an incredibly grateful plant))

It looks beautiful in pictures and photos, you might think: oh, what an exotic cactus. This is a succulent and its homeland is the desert. A relative of cacti, thorns and living stones. in fact, it is a very small plant, it’s difficult to even call it a plant; it looks like a reverse Christmas tree with striped leaves. It’s so small and unremarkable in life that other than cactus lovers, it’s not worth having one, much less spending money on it! Belongs to the category of mini-plants, 3-5 cm in volume.

I lost two haworthias until I realized that they needed a low bowl and extremely infrequent watering. Now the latter is alive and well. Yesterday I watered it for the first time in six months.

Last year I was given an adult rosette of Haworthia striata. So I let it rot. I fell in love. I overwatered it so much that the rosette simply fell - there were no roots at all! On the advice of smart people, I didn’t throw anything away; I dried it well and supported it with wooden sticks so that it wouldn’t fall over.
This year there are already a lot of children in my Khavronya, and she herself stands proud and beautiful. Amazing plant.

Advantages:
decorativeness
Flaws:
not for everyone
A succulent suitable for any room can become the pride of your collection. It is enough to plant and water occasionally. And that’s it, the plant will delight you with its appearance. If he wants, he will release children who will remain if the old plant decides to dry out. Compared to aloe, the leaves are drier and very colorful. You can make compositions with other similar plants, decorate them with pebbles and shells. The root system is not very developed, so small pots can be used. It still loves light, so it’s better to keep it on the window, then the colors will be more interesting. It grows slowly. I didn't see any flowers. The main thing is not to drop)

Advantages:
unpretentious
Flaws:
slow growth
A long-growing or slow-growing creature, as it is also popularly called. An unpretentious plant without a stem. Haworthia is resistant to dry air and does not need spraying, because in nature it grows in sand under the rays of the sun. However, in winter it suffers from too warm and dry indoor air; in some species, the tips of the leaves begin to dry out. They grow well on east and west windows. Withstands cold temperatures up to 5 degrees, but without watering. The leaves become limp and easily come off if the plant is flooded. In the fall, watering is reduced, and in winter it is limited depending on the air temperature. Overall, this is a cute little creature with no fuss. Sometimes it seems that in a year you don’t gain a centimeter in height, but this is not so. Its slow growth is due to its long-term decoration of your window sill. Of course, with proper care.

Advantages:
Not whimsical, fast growing.
Flaws:
Does not tolerate bright sun, overwatering, and sleeps in winter.
I got this flower from my grandmother, and it has always pleased me with its unpretentiousness, since I don’t really like to care for flowers, and this miracle flower is just right for me, it needs watering extremely rarely, it doesn’t tolerate much light - this is also a big plus because In my apartment the windows do not face the sunny side. The main thing is not to forget that in winter it begins its dormant period and it is better to put it in a cool place at this time.

I really like chrysanthemums. Previously, these flowers were grown outside, they bloomed only in autumn and bloomed until the onset of frost. And now there are chrysanthemums that can be grown in a pot. These are very beautiful flowers, they grow very well and form a lush cap of bright flowers. They are very well suited for decorating a balcony, and when it gets cool they can be brought into the room and the beautiful chrysanthemums will continue to delight us with their bright presence. Caring for flowers is not difficult. They need to be watered as the soil dries. These are very beautiful flowers that can be decorated your home.

When I saw photographs of potted chrysanthemums in the catalog, I simply fell in love with them. There were about 20 different species, differing in color. And I decided to buy myself a few bushes. They were brought to me in small pots, about 10 cm high. After oklematization, I transplanted them into larger pots and put them on the windowsill. They bloomed the next year. There weren't many flowers, but they looked original.
They are not too fussy to care for. I made sure that the earthen ball did not dry out and sprayed them periodically.
But the first flower dried up after flowering, no matter how hard I tried to trim it and root the cuttings. But the second one was saved. Apparently he is less whimsical.
And the next year it again pleased me with more abundant flowering.
It bloomed for about a month, after which it also began to dry out. Neither changing the place nor leaving it produced any results and I lost the last representative of chrysanthemums in the house.
But I think that as a gift this flower will be an excellent addition and will delight you with its bloom for many weeks.

It was in August. My grandmother went to the south, my mother and I stayed to look after the apartment. We took care of everything, watered the flowers every day, and my grandmother has a lot of them - she likes the vegetation on the windows. We decided to celebrate with flowers, but not with a bouquet, but with a pot) Grandma really likes chrysanthemums, so we bought them. We bought a pot with a green bush and all in buds (for 99 rubles). After 2 weeks, there was no longer a bush on the window, but a bouquet! It's mid-November and it's still blooming!!! She is not at all fussy about care. Every day we add water to her tray and cut off wilted flowers and dry leaves. So I advise everyone to decorate their windowsill with such an unpretentious miracle)

I grow chrysanthemums from seeds. There are varieties that are already 5 years old. In the spring I renew the plants with cuttings from the mother liquor. Those planted from seeds bloom closer to autumn and bloom on the glassed-in loggia until December, when I deliberately give them a rest - I hardly water them, etc.
From cuttings it blooms all summer and autumn. Therefore, I don’t quite understand why the Dutch can bloom differently. They can be seen blooming in stores all year round. I think if you buy plants at intervals of a couple of months, there will be constant flowering. Regardless of variety or type.

My mother once “got sick” with chrysanthemums and “infected” me. It all started with a small and inconspicuous flower in a pot, ended with the cultivation of garden chrysanthemums, but there was still no “recovery”. This little guy came to me in a deplorable state, I already thought that I couldn’t resuscitate him. But no, it came to life and turned into a decent bush. He became so handsome! At the sight of this flowering cap, friends ask for a shoot, mom resists, friends calm down. Then the chrysanthemum blooms again, and everything repeats itself. Chrysanthemums have a lot of advantages: they are beautiful, can be stored for a long time when cut, smell pleasant, and are easily propagated by cuttings. All you need is good lighting and watering. The downside is that they sometimes get sick. If you want to create a mood in your home, be sure to buy chrysanthemums, you won’t regret it!

I have such a flower! the fact that it is in a room where the heater is working affects its well-being! The desired air temperature for this plant is approximately 17 degrees, too cool for a person! Try to place the flower in another room, for example in the kitchen on the windowsill in the winter, since in summer, too long daylight hours will also harm the chrysanthemum! Although it also needs sunlight, only in limited quantities! During flowering, it is advisable to fertilize it with a special complementary food; it can be bought in most flower shops)

I won’t say that I’m crazy about these flowers, but I like them. Mostly everyone thinks about bouquets of these flowers. But I admired chrysanthemums planted in pots at my relatives, and even in winter. Lovely, I admire it. The cost of a bouquet of these The colors are not great, but they will please you for a long time (they last a long time). There is also a variety of colors.

For me, home flowers are a whole challenge. On the one hand, I simply adore them, on the other, even my cacti have dried up......Everything standing in the bedroom is forgotten...... As a result, I didn’t dare to get myself flowers for more than two years. And then my aunt came to visit me and gave me simply gorgeous white chrysanthemums. I was simply delighted! And most importantly, I know that the flower is quite unpretentious and blooms for a long time. I placed the pot next to the aquarium so that I would never forget about these wonderful flowers. By the way, I take water for irrigation directly from the aquarium and in my opinion the flowers are happy with it.

Chrysanthemums are undoubtedly very beautiful, but they are capricious and require some care, and do not like heat. For them, the normal room temperature is no higher than 18 degrees; due to the high temperature, the leaves and inflorescences dry out. Try moving the flower to a cooler room; the heater will destroy it. You need to water the chrysanthemum as it dries, once a week is enough, do not overwater it, do not place it in direct sunlight.

Advantages:
bloom beautifully
Flaws:
be careful with what you buy
How nice it is when there are a lot of flowers in the house. I love it to be beautiful on the windowsills; I grow not only useful plants, but simply charming ones that bloom beautifully. In recent years I have given particular preference to chrysanthemums. Firstly, they bloom for a long time and wildly, and secondly, I love their aroma, it comes not from the flowers, but from the leaves and has bactericidal properties. This winter I have only one type of chrysanthemum left - it blooms with yellow double flowers, before that there was a yellow chamomile with brown streaks along the petals.
My husband bought it for me as a gift. She flourished magnificently and that's all. This is the second year she has been sick, the castings are drying up, and she cannot get buds. I'll probably have to throw it away. It’s my own fault, I should have cut it off immediately after it flourished, but I regretted it. And here is the result. Apparently there were no problems when growing terry chrysanthemums, but this one turned out to be weak. I want to warn novice flower growers like me: carefully inspect potted flowers purchased in a store; a weakened or infected plant can bring only disappointment and unnecessary trouble instead of joy. It is advisable to keep the new plant separately from other plants for a month, and if a disease is detected, treat it with fungicides.
Usually the chrysanthemum is quite unpretentious, the main thing for it is that it is cool and light, it also loves to “drink”, literally every other day you have to water it, once a week - with fertilizing. This is especially important when the plant is developing or in bloom. After the chrysanthemum has faded, it must be trimmed and placed in a cool place. In the spring, when the earth warms up, I plant almost all the indoor flowers in the flowerbed, they grow well, the chrysanthemum in the open ground will bloom in September, and all summer it will delight me with its silvery carved foliage. In the fall, I replant the flowers back into the pot, add fertile, crumbly soil, and add ash, since our soil is acidic. The planted plants will bloom again in a month or two, and to prolong this beauty, you need to pinch the side shoots and remove the wilted flowers immediately.
Growing chrysanthemums at home is not difficult, and it also helps improve your mood and comfort in your home.

My mother grows a chrysanthemum at home from a cutting of a garden chrysanthemum. It so happened that it was handed over when it was too late to plant it in open ground. So it grew at home all winter in a small pot, lay down, became almost hanging, and now it has bloomed at the ends of the shoots with very double yellow flowers. But I don’t know if it would bloom if it was cut

...they gave me a chrysanthemum. In the store they assured me that there were new ovaries, they say everything will bloom... But most likely this is a lie, because I heard about all these roses, azaleas, etc. blooming in pots, that this is just a gift in a pot - it will bloom and wither
